Power Supply

Using industry standard power supply for telecommunications you are on the safe side
with 48 V/DC power supply .

This offers you the advantages of a direct battery supply. Due to the fact that the equipment
is directly connected with the batteries, there is nothing in the way to produce an outage
(for example, a power inverter as used in the 230/400 V UPS).

Additionally, you have a second safety measure with build-in rectifiers, which charge the
battery cells.

The concept by NewTelco (which we use ourselves) is to use two independent rectifier
systems each with a battery pack, which can be mounted within a 19 inch rack.

We at NewTelco use primarily the series MPSU from ELTEK VALERE. To complement
the system, we also install SMS message system from Siemens. With this capability we
are informed of every change or activity as required.
