Symposium in Odessa

The Telecommunications Symposium in Odessa has a certain tradition. Invitations are issued each year by the A.S. POPOV ODESSA NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS.

Utterly apart from this amazing city on the Black Sea, the meeting itself is something highly unusual.

There’s an undeniable relaxed cordiality and sense of spontaneous sociability here that is truly unique among conferences.

The symposium started five years ago and was originally held at the university itself, although the huge demand quickly overwhelmed the available space. A pity, actually, as those grounds have a special charm all their own.
